Amber Bing, a 2nd year U18’s guard, has signed in for the NBL1 squad for season 2022.
Becoming an absolute knock-down shooter, Amber has also recently added pressuring defence to her skill-set as she continues to develop her game on both ends.
Bing had this to say:
“I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to continuously develop and learn from such a talented group of Women and Coaches. I am very excited for the season ahead”.
Coach McNamara sees what Bing brings to the court:
“Amber brings enthusiasm to the court and a love of team success. She is developing into a consistent 3 point threat and provides great hustle and intensity in defense.
We look forward to her further development learning from our senior team members.”
Last year she averaged 8ppg in U18’s, whilst shooting an impressive 30% from the 3-point line on 1.8 makes per game.
After seeing a lot of development in the U18 program in 2021, Bing is aiming to keep her trajectory going as she balances school commitments with playing.
