Norwood is excited to announce the signing of New Zealander Isaac Miller-Jose. Isaac is a 6’8 forward who just finished his college career with the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg, Canada.
Head Coach Tim Odell:
“Isaac brings size, athleticism and a well-rounded skill set. He’s a bulldog and will be a key building block for us moving forward.”
Isaac averaged 8.6ppg and 6.6rpg in his final season for Manitoba.
With the ability to play inside and out, also protect the rim on defence whilst also being able to put pressure on the rim on offence- is what should stand him in good stead for the remainder of the 2023 NBL1 season and beyond.
Isaac :
“I’m excited to be joining the Norwood Flames, playing in the NBL1 league brings a new challenge that I’m looking forward to tackling”.

NBL1 GM Will Smith:
“We have been tracking Isaac for a while and thought that he will bring real versatility to our group. Being able to play the 3 and 4, whilst also covering the 5 in a small-ball lineup allows our coaching staff a great deal of flexibility in line-ups and matchups going forward. We are also aware our league has some big and athletic teams that we need to be able to match physically.”
Isaac suits up for his debut game vs Sturt at Springbank, with his home opener the following weekend against Centrals at the Arc.
Isaac will also be involved in coaching juniors and will be around the basketball community off-court.
