Norwood Basketball Club would like to welcome Lachlan Coppick to the position of Operations Manager from the 4th of October 2022.Lachlan has a wealth of experience in both basketball and management, he joins us from West Adelaide Bearcats Basketball Club where he has spent the last 21 years.
Lachlan has coached both boys and girls across every age group including state league men where he was the assistant coach for the 2017 championship team, he headed up the Adelaide national wheelchair program, the West Adelaide Thunder, and was involved in the formation of South Australia Wheelchair Basketball Association where he spent two years as president.
He has just finished his 12th season as co-team manager for the men and women basketball state league team for West and will continue into his second year of the Open Men’s SA netball and first year of the U23 Australian Men’s netball team manager. He currently serves as treasurer for the SA Men’s and Mixed Netball Association.
Lachlan professionally spent the last 5 years at Bupa Health Insurance where the last 18 months has seen him as Store Leader for West Lakes.
