Coach Dickel is looking forward to joining the Flames Family:
“I look forward to starting to work with the NBL1 women’s team at Norwood, which clearly has had a lot of success in recent times. To be able to work on the great foundation and professionalism that the Norwood Flames Basketball Club has been able to provide to women’s basketball was indeed what made this position appealing to me”
Richard is also seeing the bigger club picture:
“I also look forward to becoming part of the Norwood Basketball club community and watching the Jnr teams and players continue to develop”.
Richard will be very engaged in the juniors as well; He will be coaching all Norwood & ACBA Camps in the 2023-24, as well as helping coach at our Morning Workout Sessions.
Club Chairperson, Kelly O’Brien:
“I am delighted to welcome a coach of Richard’s calibre to our club. His knowledge and commitment to the game across junior and elite levels is second to none. We look forward to building on the success of our NBL1 women’s program under his leadership.”
