Dear Norwood Families,
Last week we held a Special General Meeting and the 2022 Annual General Meeting, and we would like to provide everyone with an update of the important outcomes from the night.
Special General Meeting:
There were four special resolutions proposed and all were passed:
1) Amend the quorum to be 20% and no less than 15 members present,
2) Increase the number of directors to be 4 General Directors, 2 ACBA Directors, One membership director and two appointed directors,
3) Increase the term of the directors to three years,
4) Confirm the transition of the current board members.
Annual General Meeting:
The previous minutes, Chairperson’s report and financial report were all tabled and accepted.
We had two nominations for the available ACBA director position and we welcomed Nathan Groves into that position.
We had six nominations for the three available General director positions and we welcomed Diana Coyle, and Andrew McPhail and Tom Parkin have returned to the board.
We had no Life Members nominated.
We are happy to announce that Paul Ferka (recent State Champs U14 Boys Reserves Championship coach) received his Playing and Coaching Life Membership.
