Dear Norwood Families
On Friday 17th of March we received a phone call from the management of Mars to advise that their lease was being terminated by the owners and that we would need to vacate the premises by 28th March.
This has come as a shock to both our team and Mars management and will impact a variety of our activities including Norwood trainings, ACBA games and the Easter tournament.
We thank Shannon and the Mars team for all of the support they have provided in our partnership during our tenure there. I know lots of fond memories would have been had by our families and players on those courts over the years and we are saddened by this news.
The office is currently working with pace to ensure the impact on all of our activities is limited however this will require some patience and flexibility from our members and we appreciate your support whilst we work through this issue together.
Communication will be going directly to coaches and team managers as we have updates an the affected trainings and other activities.
We request that you refrain from contacting the office regarding this situation and wait for information from your respective team contacts.
We want to reassure everyone that we will provide regular updates as soon as information comes to hand.
