We are excited to announce that the Norwood Basketball Club have a new award for 2020 in honour of Rob Goodwin who passed away earlier in the year.
The Rob Goodwin Commitment Award was given in honour of Rob to a player who:
- Is an under 16 player – non div 1 or div 2
- Made the most of an opportunity they were given during the season
- Was moved up and worked to keep that spot, or was moved down and proved that he could get back to his spot, or given a leadership role and smashed it, or played their first season and embodied the values of the Norwood Flames
- Was selfless in their approach to the success of their squad and therefore the club because they respected the opportunity
We are pleased to announce the winner of the inaugural Rob Goodwin Commitment Award, as nominated by his coach, is Rob’s son Evan Goodwin.

- Bryan Hennig – Volunteer of the Year Award – Maria Turnbull
- Manager of the Year Award – Annette Silby
- Rob Goodwin Commitment Award – Evan Goodwin
