Norwood Basketball Club also created a new non-voting membership category – Playing and Coaching Life Members.
This membership is given to players and coaching staff that have played or coached a minimum of 200 senior (NBL1 level) games for the club or have contributed significantly to the success of a senior team i.e. Premiership coach/captain or a state-level award winner i.e Woolacott or Halls Medal.
Players or coaches of junior teams that have played or coached over 350 Norwood junior and/or senior (non-NBL1 level) games are also eligible for this membership. The initial inductees for this category are:
