You may soon notice signs of the Norwood Basketball Club’s support for Chris Pyne, Federal member for Sturt who has consistently pledged financial support of $7.5m for the Campbelltown Leisure Redevelopment. In contrast, the Federal Labor Government has rejected the Campbelltown Council’s application for funding for the redevelopment five times since 2010 although we acknowledge the support of the State Government who have made their committed $3 million funding available.
As a club our due diligence to our members must be to work towards securing the redevelopment of CLC in support of the Council and the club’s long term future. We are asking club members to consider this support when making their decisions as to how they cast their vote in the 7 September election.
