This free workshop is designed to provide you with additional tools and fresh perspectives to help your young athlete build resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love for growth. Workshop Overview:
Championing Your Athlete’s Journey is a collaborative experience for Norwood parents dedicated to supporting their young athletes. Through practical insights and interactive session, you’ll discover strategies to guide your child in handling setbacks, staying motivated, and developing skills that go beyond sports.
Whether your child dreams of playing professionally or simply loves the game, this workshop offers valuable guidance for helping them succeed in all aspects of life.

Who’s Leading the Workshop?
Branson Palmer (MRes)
Branson brings a wealth of experience in coaching and youth development, specialising in guiding young athletes towards their full potential. His previous roles with the Adelaide 36ers, Basketball SA High Performance Program, University of South Australia and Pedare Christian College has enabled Branson to gain a unique perspective from academic research, professional and grass-root sports. Branson also founded FLUID Experiences to provide tailored learning opportunities for young athletes and their families.
Ivan Zrinscak (MSc, NextPlay)
Ivan is a Certified Resilience, Athlete Mindset, and Team High-Performance Coach with qualifications and a strong focus on Sport Psychology. Using a research-based approach, and drawing from his military-acquired resilience training and insights from coaches like Pat Riley of the Miami Heat, Ivan founded NextPlay Athlete Mindset and Resilience Coaching to equip athletes with mental skills for peak performance. As the Mindset & Resilience Coach for Norwood Flames NBL1, he develops athletes’ mental toughness, focus, and confidence—qualities essential both on and off the court.
