NBL1 Round 6 vs Forestville Eagles
Join us at The ARC for the Round 6 of the NBL1 Central Season against the Forestville Eagles on ANZAC Day!
ANZAC Day is a very important day for Australia as we look back and remember all of the ANZAC soldiers who have fought for this country and given us the lives we are fortunate enough to live today. It is an especially important event for the Norwood Flames due to our rich history which is directly tied to the 2/10th Batallion who founded what is now the Norwood Flames.
Join us in a day full of activities and fun as well as respectful remembrance of all that ANZAC Day means.
There will be the Pembroke School Band playing live Anzac Day music during warm-ups and half-time of both games!
The Women’s team return with their young core intact, adding the firepower of Imports Dara Mabrey and Cali Clark!
Both imports have just been playing in Greece and will join the Flames in their goal of making it back into the finals.
For the Men- the team has had a revamped roster under new Head Coach Miles Pearce.
With strong NZ ties- it’s no surprise to see a NZ contingent on the squad. How very appropriate for ANZAC DAY!!!
